I just came back from a week trip in Singapore to visit my partner who is doing research there. Of course, I took advantage of all the Asian beauty shopping while I was visiting! Amongst my Watsons, Innisfree, Tony Moly and The Face Shop adventures, my biggest spend was at Etude House. They had a few promotions going for Chinese New Year so I got a tonne of freebies. The Etude House that I bought my little haul from was in 313@somerset, at the MRT stop Somerset. I definitely recommend this mall since it also has a great Korean chicken place that just opened haha. ;)
Here are the items I actually bought which filled one of the bags I received. I picked up two brushes, a lip one and a blush one to add to my numbers. Two play pencils. Hair clips for when I curl my hair. Two lip tints. The Disney version of the Precious Mineral BB Cream (which I will review later). And to reach the promotion spending amount I threw in the hydrogel mask and lip mask.
For spending over a specific amount I was given this as a promotion item! I show the items in the boxes below but it also included a Tea Tree sheet mask (my favourite!), BB Cream Cotton Fit deluxe sample, Moistfull Collagen samples and a little jewellery bag!
What the boxes contained! I don’t really know anything about the Age Defence or Pearl Aura items so I’m looking forward to trying them out! With so many samples of all these items I don’t think I will need to buy any if I want for awhile though hehe.
I was feeling ‘purple’ for my play pencils this time. I bought 34 and 31.
Here are the swatches. 34 is a gorgeous deep purple with little glitters of pink and purple and a sheen if a little blue. 31 is a grey shiny purple that is a little more toned down. Sorry for this photo, the macro on my camera scared me with all the lines on my hands. @_@
A close up of the pencil heads and the sharpeners that come with it at the ends. You don’t need to sharpen them to get more product, just twist the bottom. The sharpeners are to regain the point on the end.
Here’s me trying out the Bio Jelly Coconut Gel Mask. I bought Trouble Care since I love the normal tea tree masks. It smells just like tea tree. You have to remove two pieces of plastic, one from either side, to place it on your face. It is a gel like mask so it’s like plastic jelly but firm. It fir my face really nicely and was super cool which was great since I had a fever at the time. You leave it on for 30 minutes and I found it worked really nicely. I definitely recommend this mask for a splurge buy.
Well that’s all for this post. I have a review of the BB cream coming soon as well as the lip tints. Hope you enjoyed my little haul haha. I definitely haven’t had a buying experience like this before.
