Seven Deadly Sins of Beauty

GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?

I don’t pay too much attention to prices after I’ve bought the items haha, but I believe my least expensive item would be my single Etude House Look At My Eyes eyeshadows that are for sale on their global website for US$3.50. I only bought them in person in Japan though, just as a fun thing to throw in my basket. My most expensive? That I currently own, because I used own Dior mascaras but they expired, is my Chanel eyeshadow quad which is US$59 on their website. In Australian money, my Naked Basics palette is a close second being worth $50 but I bought it on sale from Beauty Bay.

WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with?

Most of them! I’m still learning how to get everything applied properly and eye liner and eyeshadows are my worst love/hate. Either they look really pretty or terrible. It’s hard to make myself put in the effort daily to be honest. I also have a love/hate with lipstick and lipgloss a lot. I’m still trying to embrace having colourful lips for an every day look.

GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products?

My Tony Moly peach lip balm smells just like peaches, nom nom! I’m not sure I have too many “delicious” items. A lot of things I own, make up wise, have no scent which is kind of random.

But more delicious as in “nom nom I love this product so muuucchh!’ would have to be my Canmake blushes! They’re so pretty and look great on my cheeks!

SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?

Eyeliner and eyeshadow, and primer. And lipstick. Okay, I need to stop being so lazy! I do get blush and mascara on without fail though and that’s a good thing.

PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?

Mascara. Big fluttery lashes just make my eyes look bigger and more sparkly. If everything is going wrong in my day at least I feel good about having pretty eyelashes lol.

LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?

Physical would be thick dark eyebrows, long eyelashes, brown eyes, long hair, beard, dimples. Hey, everything my partner has! ;) Personality would be kindness, empathy, good sense of humour and intelligence with passion in things they’re interested in.

ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift?

Beauty item related it would be eyeshadow palettes and blushes because I can be not so adventurous but if someone gave me a crazy colour I’d be happy to try it out!

Love your answers haha! And dang makeup is really expensive in Australia. I really want to try Etude products. I can’t wait until I save up for another shipment. Their products are so cute!! 😊

Australia sucks for prices haha. I know this Covergirl foundation that’s $27 here and it’s apparently something like $7 in Canada. :O That’s just life here though. Etude House is so great and the packaging is certainly a plus! I prefer their make up over skin care though.

Lorac is what I’ve been using. I like the colors and it has never failed to stay on all day. I’m still on the look out for a mascara that doesn’t make me look like a raccoon by mid day! ❀

I really want to try Lorac! Not sure how to purchase it in Australia but maybe one day. I hear some great things about their Pro palettes. :) Mascara is hard. If you’re willing to splurge a bit, Dior is amaaazziinngg! They have waterproof too. At the moment I am using an Etude House one and I really like that plus it doesn’t budge, though I don’t think it’s water proof.

I use the Stila onecover primer as it drastically reduced redness (my rosacea can get pretty bad, especially when pregnant)… It’s so good i actually sometimes wear it without makeup! x
